Key responsibilities
  • Objective of Role:
    To develop skills and gain practical experience in the field of solar asset management, contributing to the efficient operation and maintenance of solar power plants.
  • Technical Support:
    1. Assist in monitoring and analyzing the performance of solar power plants.
    2. Support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to electrical systems.
    3. Help in the preparation and review of technical reports and documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Preparation of plant layouts. Prepare in-house drawings and technical specifications for AC Electrical system.
  • Design and Calculations:
    1. Collect and analyze data from solar installations to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    2. Assist in developing predictive maintenance strategies based on data insights.
  • Operational Support:
    1. Participate in the daily operations and maintenance activities of solar assets.
    2. Assist in the scheduling and coordination of maintenance tasks with field teams.
    3. Help ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
    4. Ensure the operation and functionality of CMS (Central Monitoring Station) & CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
    5. Weekly Reports preparation on issue raised to site team as per alerts on CMS Portal.
  • Project Management:
    1. Support the planning and execution of projects aimed at optimizing solar plant performance.
    2. Assist in coordinating with vendors and contractors for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
    3. Responsibility of PR Creations, GRN & Bill posting in ERP & SAP.
  • Learning and Development:
    1. Engage in continuous learning to understand the latest technologies and best practices in solar asset management.
    2. Attend training sessions, workshops, and industry conferences as required.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    1. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, performance metrics, and incidents.
    2. Assist in preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    3. Involvement in HOTO transition from Projects to Asset Management.
Non-negotiable technical skills and abilities
  • Strong Foundation:
    Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
    Basic understanding of solar power systems and electrical engineering principles.
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
Persona/Behavioural competencies
  • Proficiencies:
    Basic understanding of solar power systems and electrical engineering principles.
    Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    Familiarity with data analysis tools and software is a plus.
  • Round 1: Screening by T&A Team.
  • Round 2: Interview with GM O&M
Education and experience required
  • Education: B.Tech (Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field)
