Key Responsibilities
Contract Strategy and Planning
Implement a comprehensive procurement strategy Solar Photo Voltic Modules in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Key Category for Procurement
Solar PV Modules
Cost Estimate
Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions.
Review and understanding of Wafer, cell & BOS of Photo Voltic Modules and its cost.
To re-align the cost estimates to the benchmarking or internal management targets through value engineering, alternative makes and sources.
Supplier Selection and Evaluation
Identify potential suppliers in PV Module segment and Conduct Market research and analysis to identify potential supplier/ vendor, evaluate their capabilities and negotiate favorable terms and conditions to achieve cost saving and mitigate risks.
Negotiate and establish service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality and Delivery Timelines.
Market Research and Trend Update
Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing and Supplier Performance to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
Stay updated with the industry advancement, regulations and emerging technologies in Photovoltic industry.
Contract Negotiation and Management
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions.
Draft, review, and execute service contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and implement corrective actions when necessary
Cost Optimization
Implement cost-saving initiatives, including benchmarking, competitive bidding, and cost analysis.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within Contracts.
Risk Management
Assess and mitigate risks associated with Contracts, including performance, financial, and legal risks.
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions on account of technology and delivery.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance and cost savings to senior management
Supplier Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance collaboration and value delivery.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
Non-Negotiable Skills and Abilities
