Key responsibilities
- Raising Debt: Assisting in PF transaction from deal initiation, making IMs, financial modelling, consultants (LIE /LIA/Trustee/Advisors etc.), lender engagement, term-sheet negotiations, transaction structuring, legal documentation, disbursement, and post disbursement compliance
- Corporate Finace: Managing working capital, trade finance facilities from banks to manage the working capital requirements of the company.
- Credit Ratings: Deal with rating agencies for external ratings of portfolio companies, plan and oversee audits conducted by these agencies to ensure compliance with established standards.
Identify areas for improvement and drive corrective and preventive actions to achieve rating upgrades.
Implement a robust off-taker evaluation framework and ensure due diligence reports are comprehensive and insightful. - Stakeholder management: Provide support to BD/M&A teams in bidding and acquisitions.
Advising the Policy Advocacy and Regulatory Team on financing aspects of business for required policy interventions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk mitigation measures discussed with lenders are effectively integrated into project plans.
Responsible for adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal and external compliance for the entire loan book.
Compliance monitoring and reporting of all Debt facilities obtained by company and subsidiaries. - Strong relationships: Network with financial institutions and develop a strong lender base which includes PSU Banks/ Private Banks/ Foreign Banks / Multilateral Institutions (ADB/ IFC), NBFCs, Infra Debt Funds

- Experience: Proven experience in project finance within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
- Attention to detail: Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong financial acumen: Strong financial acumen and ability to conduct project financial analysis.
