Key responsibilities

• Project Implementation:
  Excellent planning execution of the project activities of Substation construction projects in line with EHS & Quality Management.Skilled in planning, monitoring & controlling project schedules and ensure that the targets are achieved within budget and timeline and reporting on forecasted expenditures.Implement processes related to permitting compliances, safety policies, construction quality management system, EHV Substations being developed across India.

  Collaborate with various statutory bodies for availing mandatory sanctions & permits as well as obtaining permission for execution of project.

• Project Execution Planning:
  Conduct & attend regular scheduled project meetings in coordination with Project manager, management, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate, confirm, and communicate the status of the EHV substation execution plan & schedule.
  
  Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  
  Ensure that the necessary approvals are in place and components and parts are delivered at site as per requirements.Draft and release the construction SOPs and checklists related to execution of EHV substation.

  Knowledge of cost saving & effective methods for construction with optimum utilization of resources.Site progress tracking and proactive in resolving issues involved in projects.

• Team Building:
  Recruit project personnel for the field execution team who will oversee site execution related to Civil & Electrical work packages.
• Vendor Scouting:
  Coordinate with the supply chain team to procure goods and services necessary for execution of Substation.

Non-negotiable technical skills and abilities

• Deep understanding towards implementation & execution of substations from design to energization with strong focus on testing & commissioning along with integration of SCADA & SAS related activities involved in EHV substations.
• Sound understanding of the regulatory requirements for managing project risks and issues.
• Led the planning, implementation, and commissioning of EHV substations primarily for solar & wind projects.
